Today marks 7 years of sobriety.

100% best decision I ever made.

My little dude and I took a day (and night) and camped in the 4Runner along the Yadkin River in the Uwharrie National Forest in Troy, NC.

Here’s a few snapshots from that little getaway.

Last week marked a special day.

September 28th, 2023 was the day my Dad was released from constant care after his heart surgery and pacemaker implant back in early August.

Signs.. They pop in and can kick you in the face at the most random times letting you know what's important and what's not. A single happening can show a dude the ropes in a way that was apparent all along. Shit can change in a second.

Inevitable. Some things are certain to happen. “Unavoidable” they say… Some things though are indeed avoidable I guess…

Man… John Fitzgerald was one-of-a-kind. 3 years ago today, I got a call from one of our mutual friends. Hysterically, she said Fitz had passed away.
